AcademyLMS is a hidden gem.

We use AcademyLMS extensively in combination with StoreEngine, all works seamless. As an SME, it is very important to us that support is available, friendly, and effective when we have a question or problem. Communication is superb. The usability and clean code bring well-thought-out features to the LMS, which today leaves almost nothing to be desired.
It's more a question of what you want to do with it, and if something is missing, then add it to the roadmap and sooner or later the AcademyLMS team will make it happen.

For us: 5 tacos and the clear favorite and a must for an LMS on WordPress.

I am an educator and BETA tester for numerous LMS platforms. It is standard functionality to include SCORM as part of any LMS, without it the app is useless. The platform received two stars because it works and looks nice once you follow the installation instructions.

After purchasing the Lifetime Deal via AppSumo when accessing the add-ons to install the SCORM functionality it requires you to buy the LMS AGAIN either paying monthly, annually, or buy another lifetime deal on their website.

This is HORRIBLE! I have requested to purchase the SCORM add-on separately and the rep. (Arafat) responded stating that if it is a paid subscription from their site then the SCORM add-on is included. This proves my point. I have wasted money with the App Sumo lifetime deal for basic SCORM functionality because I'll need to pay for a subscription plan anyway.

BAD DEAL.

They don't offer a closed or private option for courses which makes this product completely unusable for me and my clients. By not having this simple feature, they are making business decisions for the end user (forcing one of 2 payment options).

They get 1 star for integrating Fluent CRM and 1 star for a clean interface.

I asked about this feature over 4 months ago and it still hasn't been implemented even though they said it would.

It's a shame because I enjoyed using it in my test environment.

I decided to give Tier-2 Academy LMS a try, and I have to admit that it's very impressive. It makes course creation effortless and easy. As a user, I appreciate the seamless integration with Elementor and other essential tools. The user interface is incredibly easy to navigate, and the variety of features, including the integration with WooCommerce Subscriptions, makes selling courses a breeze.

Hats off to Academy LMS! I upgraded to the 3rd tier as I see great potential in this plugin. Don't miss this limited-time lifetime deal!

I was hoping for a replacement for MasterStudy LMS as the theme with the plugin is simply too slow. Academy LMS advertises its plugin and theme as light weight and fast. That might be true, first speed tests were kinda positive, but then I tried to switch the theme and realized that Academy LMS relies heavily on Elementor and even other plugins such as Essential addons. These have a direct influence on performance and make the use of the theme complex. For instance: main menu appears only in an Elementor header and not in the standard menu location.

As a result, I switched back to my original MasterStudy settings.

Please create Demos based on Gutenberg and nothing else. I expect here beautiful, well-designed homepages.

Regarding the booking feature: cool that there is a general availability. But if you work with several instructors, then you need to allow each of them an individual calendar that would apply to all of their courses. Currently, you can only set one booking calendar per course. I believe, it is a very challenging thing to develop a whole calendar, so please integrate with Amelia to solve that.

I will keep this for now and observe the development over the next month or so and then decide if I go for a refund or not. At the current state, it´s unfortunately not usable for me, which is mainly due to the heavy reliance (of the theme) on Elementor.
