Q: Hola team, Can you please tell me what your user management is like?
I read a 2 year old review explaining that there's no contacts section so if you want to modify a contact, you have to modify that info in every list the contact is subscribed to. Does that mean that if I want to modify the person's name, email, etc, I have to do it in every list they're subscribed to? Or has this changed now?
I also read that "templates" need to be duplicated in order to be modified for each new campaign. For example, in Mailerlite I can choose a template for a new email campaign and when I modify it, it will ask me if I want to add those changes to the existing template or just use the changes for the new campaign. Is this possible with Acumbamail or do we have to duplicate the template before creating a new campaign?
Thanks.

May 15, 2024A: Hi! Thank you for your interest.
Yes, sure. You can create segments for each list depending on customized fields or previous behavior with your campaigns. These segments can be used to send email marketing campaigns to that specific subgroup as well as to trigger email workflows. You can also export these segments or edit them whenever you need to.
Hope this helps!

Hola Greg!
Thank you for your questions. Here it goes:
1) User management: once you set up an account, on the settings section you can create different users with different email addresses and passwords to access the same account. Those users can have different permissions:
Visualizer: they can only see campaign analytics
Editor: they can also work on the email campaigns and see the email lists of the account)
Sender: they can also send email campaigns
Manager: they will be able to see and do all things (except they won't be able to see the billing section - this is not relevant for sumo-lings)
Admin: they can change users' permissions and they will be able to do all things inside of the account
2) As for the contact section, this applies today. Here's the thing: on our system, we consider each subscriber as unique to each list, because we include behavior segments depending on the activity of that subscriber on that specific list. We also include a campaign history for each subscriber on that list (they have opened X campaign, they clicked on Y campaign). This would only be possible considering each subscriber is unique. But, in any case, if you look out for a subscriber on the search bar of the Lists menu, you can see in which lists they are included and change any details easily.
3) Yes, unfortunately, this is the only way to do it: you have a sample template that you can keep modifying for each campaign by duplicating it.
Hope this was helpful!
Cheers,
Marina
so if we have one main list for each brand (I do) then do you have tags, groups, and segments that we can import, edit, and use to trigger automations?
