Q: Rate limit

Hello

I don't understand tier 2 and 3.. I see that you say it's unlimited AI queries within your system.. But then there's a rate limit of 20 or 50 calls/3h..

So, can we ask as many questions as we want in 3h or is it 20/50?

We employ the term “Unlimited” in our pricing plans for both subscribers and LTD users to signify that we do not impose any arbitrary restrictions on the use of the service. However, to maintain the integrity, performance, and reliability of our system, and to ensure that all users have equitable access to the application, certain rate-limiting measures are necessary.

I want to highlight this is a standard practice that even companies like OpenAI and Anthropic also implements for their services.

Therefore, the provision of unlimited chat replies is subject to the following fair usage, as delineated in this Policy:

We have categorized our AI models into two categories:

Category 1 - Standard AI Models:
Azure GPT-3.5
Azure GPT-4 Omni Mini
Claude v3 Haiku

Category 2 - Advanced AIModels:
Azure GPT-4
Azure GPT-4 Omni
Claude v3 Sonnet

Free & Student Plans and LTD Tier 1 plan have access to Category 1 models. All plans have access to Category 1 models and can send up to 500 messages or queries per day.

Pro Plan and Unlimited Plan and LTD Tier 2 and Tier 3 plans have exclusive access to category 2 models. For category 2 AI models, the Pro Plan or Tier 2 plan allows sending 20 messages every 3 hours, while the Unlimited Plan or Tier 3 plan allows sending 50 messages every 3 hours.

Such limitations are generally adequate for the majority of our customers' needs. Should you require increased message throughput or data storage beyond these limits, please contact us directly at team@afforai.com.

Got it. I guess it's fair though it can't see for now how much this represents (I've only got a chat gpt subscription)

After reaching the limits, do we have the possibility to choose whether to use the standard models or go for BYOK?

Hi Ash, that's correct, if and when you do reach the limits, you can absolutely use the standard models or go to BYOK to continue using Afforai with no interruption.
