Q: Video tool
Hi again
Thank you very much for your response and the detailed information provided.
Regarding the video editing functionalities, I would like to inquire whether the tool is capable of:
• Editing raw footage into cohesive videos
• Automatically generating subtitles
• Segmenting content into one-minute shorts by extracting key highlights
• Creating tailored content optimized for various social media platforms
Previously, I tested Monica but was somewhat disappointed, as I anticipated the capability to generate videos directly.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
At that time I am only testing the trial / free version
thanks a lot
have a nice day

May 2, 2025A: Hey Laurianne,
Thanks for following up with these specific video questions! It helps to understand exactly what you're looking to achieve.
Regarding editing raw footage into cohesive videos, AgenticFlow isn't designed as a traditional video editor for complex cuts and splicing of existing long footage. It excels more at generating new video content or assembling videos from shorter clips, images, generated audio, and text overlays based on workflow instructions or AI prompts.
For automatically generating subtitles, yes, absolutely. When you use our text-to-speech capabilities within a workflow, the system generates both the audio file and a corresponding subtitle file (like SRT format). These captions can then be automatically incorporated into the videos created using our video rendering nodes.
Segmenting longer content into one-minute shorts by extracting key highlights is also achievable, typically through a multi-step workflow. You would first use an AI (LLM) node to analyze your main content (like a transcript) and identify the most impactful or key moments. Then, subsequent steps in the workflow could take those extracted text snippets and use our video creation nodes to generate individual short video clips for each highlight, perhaps adding relevant generated visuals.
Creating tailored content optimized for various social media platforms is definitely a strong suit. You can use AI nodes to adapt a core script or message for different platforms, changing the tone, length, and style as needed (think short and snappy for TikTok, more professional for LinkedIn). Our image and video generation nodes also allow you to specify aspect ratios like 1:1 or 9:16 to fit different platform requirements visually.
I understand your experience with Monica; AgenticFlow does focus heavily on direct video generation. You can create videos from text prompts, from images, or by assembling various media components using our dedicated video nodes like render_video or image_to_video.
It's great that you're exploring these capabilities on the free trial – that's the best way to see how these different video generation and assembly features work in practice! Let me know if you run into specific roadblocks while testing.
