It works! Found a superior alt to Buffer
I'm a soloprenuer who hates posting to social media but needs to for several accounts.
What make sense for someone like me (zero interest in social media, never think about it, but still NEED to post) is to schedule out posts for 6-12 months at a time - just get it over with all at once.
My original solution was Buffer, but to accomplish what I want, it would be $100+ per month to post, while being limited to how far out you can post on Buffer. $1200+ per year for Buffer, which I didn't like the workflow on was not going to work for me.
I couldn't find anything about Agile Assets outside of Appsumo but I decided to give it a try. To be honest, it has blown away my expectations.
You can connect multiple accounts/brands for each social media (just what I needed), and use a calendar to drag and drop posts where/when you want them.
This visual + drag and drop experience aligns much more with my style than Buffer. There is very little learning curve, and I can just glance at the calendar to see how things look.
Really really happy with Agile Assets. This is a big win for AppSumo and an underappreciated app. For my needs/the price, it's a 10/10. If I paid 2x/3x, I'd be just as happy.

Thank you for taking a chance on it despite a bit limited information outside AppSumo! Admittedly, we've been so focused on making the tool great alongside running the agency business that we haven't shared as much about Ägile Ässets "in the universe" yet. We're looking forward to changing that in the upcoming months and connecting more in other places, too.
Anyway... reading your review felt literally like basking in the sun (which has double value if you know that I am sitting here in foggy Bavaria ;)! As a fellow entrepreneur, I know how precious your time is, which makes your detailed review even more meaningful.
Indeed, I designed Ägile Ässets specifically for people like us who know - while we know how important social media is for building a business and brand - simply also have other fish to fry than spending hours posting. That drag-and-drop calendar view came from my own frustration with other tools - I wanted something visual (brain-friendly, quick to be adapted) where I could plan months ahead in one sitting and then move on with actual business. As you might have noticed, the whole workflow is built on how creative processes actually work in real life - starting with strategy, creating rough structures, then filling in and polishing over time. I went for "Natural, agile, intuitive" vs. the styles I had seen before myself.
Hearing that it's working so well for you and saving you both money and headaches again makes all the effort we've put into building this tool so worth it. Your comment about being happy even paying 2-3x more made us smile. This is great to hear! We've always aimed to underpromise and overdeliver rather than vice versa. Your feedback confirms we're on the right track.
