May 5, 2025, 1:12 PM - Received welcome email from Airfive
May 5, 2025, 1:36 PM - Sent initial support request to support@airfive.com regarding the "Add" button not responding (CC'd AppSumo support)
May 5, 2025, 1:48 PM - Received acknowledgment from AppSumo support
May 5, 2025, 1:58 PM - Provided my login email address to Airfive support
May 5, 2025, 11:25 PM - After approximately 22 hours, received message from Airfive that they had released a bug fix
May 6, 2025, 12:32 PM - Reported that the issue persisted despite following instructions
May 6, 2025, 1:06 PM - Confirmed I was using Gmail for connection
May 7, 2025, 2:32 AM - Requested status update (CC'd AppSumo)
May 7, 2025, 2:46 AM - Received response that they were "still working on the Gmail bug"
May 7, 2025, 12:25 PM - Airfive identified two issues with my account (emails without dates and abnormally large emails)
May 7, 2025, 1:03 PM - Notified that emails and AI drafts were now showing in my account
False Claims Regarding Review Deletion
AppSumo's representative (Riza_AppSumo) made this false statement:
"Our partner indicated that they did not receive a support ticket from you to troubleshoot this."
Similarly, Airfive's founder Jeremy Redman stated:
"We have responded to every single email in support. I am personally not seeing anything."
These claims are demonstrably false. As proven by the timeline above, there were multiple email exchanges between May 5-7, including several replies from the Airfive support team themselves.
Technical Issues Encountered
Email Connection Problem: The "Add" button was non-responsive when trying to connect my Gmail account. This issue took over 2 days to resolve and appears to be widespread (as evidenced by other user reviews).
Zero Inbox Display: After connection, my inbox showed zero emails despite having active email communications.
Character Encoding Issues: Several emails displayed with character encoding problems, particularly with non-English text.
AI Quality Issues: When testing the AI functionality:
The AI misinterpreted sender and recipient positions
Context understanding was poor
Non-English language support was inadequate
Overall Assessment
The service currently has multiple fundamental issues affecting basic functionality. Beyond the technical problems, what's most concerning is the practice of removing legitimate reviews by falsely claiming "no support contact was made," despite clear evidence to the contrary.
The founder's contradictory statements about "responding to every email" while simultaneously "not seeing anything" raises serious questions about the reliability of their support system.
While I see potential in the service concept, the current implementation is not ready for practical use. The combination of technical issues and questionable business practices makes it difficult to recommend in its current state.
I would be happy to re-evaluate once these issues are properly addressed.

In your original review you mentioned we did not respond to support emails I’ve highlighted it here in this screenshot; https://app.supademo.com/image/cmaea4odc000jz10iyu0lltz7 and now you say you did get responses in this updated review. And you even got a response and a fix within 24 hours initially!? I mean that’s the best we can do. We don’t like liars in our community and we won’t tolerate the negativity for negativity sake. If this keeps up you will be banned from the community. We cannot help you more than we have. And we’ll keep trying to improve the platform overall. Apologies.
