I have to admit, I somehow turned into an automation junkie :D
Although I am definitely not an IT-expert, I previously got Konnectzit, Parsio, Robomotion, Bitintegrations, Switchboard Canvas and Easyflow - and I kept all of them^^
So, I'd say I have seen some automation software (obviously I tested Zapier, Make/Integrately and Pabbly Connect, too). Still, Albato is one of my favorites for now.
Why?
1) It is really, really easy to use. You definitely don't need to be an expert in order to benefit from their solution. Most automation tools are more complex than Albato (Zapier is an exception to that rule - but it's expensive and not as flexible).
2) It is pretty powerful: You can automate almost anything you can imagine (you can set up your own app). Again, most other automation tools can't do that (Easyflow is an exception to this rule - it is very flexible, but not as user-friendly as Albato).
Of course, Albato is at an early stage. They are still behind in terms of connecting apps. Documentation (although many times not needed) could be improved, especially if you would like to craft your own connectors. They got one YouTube video (for custom apps), but this just scratches the surface. I would like to get some more detailed explanations publicly available.
To sum it up: Albato easily beats KonnectzIT, and is a valid competitor for other comparable solutions (Zapier, Pabbly, Easyflow, Make). The software itself is probably the best of all the alternatives, but they don't have as many connections yet. If they keep the good work (and they are publishing new features regularly), they will be one of the best on the market, I guess.
