Hi..
I use mindmaps to deliver public talks. Mindnode (a competitor) have a very useful feature called 'focus mode'. By clicking on any one branch and selecting 'focus mode' it focuses in on that branch only and is perfect for my needs. If possible please consider adding this to your roadmap.
