Does exactly what I need it to do, and the Developer was very kind with his time and extremely helpful.
I required a large solar farm to be scanned for a thermal inspection, and wanted to map out a flight path with a video preview demonstrating the route. This app does it, and it does it very well. No need for video editing tools. You can plot your route via Google Earth or within the app. Adjust a few settings and you're off to the races. To the reviews taking issue with the commercial use, I'd run your use case scenario by the author before posting. My questions were answered quickly, and the developer arranged time for a demo to help with the final touches and file export. All in all, a great app to have in my toolkit.

Misleading ‘lifetime’ deal. Poor show by AppSumo and the app developer.
Maps look great however, you I can’t use maps on my client sites (tour operators) without paying more. The lifetime deal is pointless as can’t actually use the maps without a hidden commercial charge to use the maps. Very misleading and poor show from Appsumo and the app maker.
This is in their terms (only find out after the fact)…

Feature question, feature request, commercial use fee
OK, the product does have promise.
Would it be possible to add something akin to or the actual Google Street View drive through. I know there was such a product in the past but they got banned from Street View access "for abuse" by Google. Maybe doing a drive at 5x or 10x speed (many fewer frames are captured from Google Street View) would make it not be banned by Google?
Also, what about having the option of adding a flat screenshot from the 360 view on the Google Street Maps at a set point, the way AvoMap now does with submitted photos? We could select the direction and zoom, AvoMaps would use that view as an image to display.
Also, did I miss it or are short videos also allowed - or can we only add photos at the select points right now?

About the white labeling and commercial use.
How about offer a two tier system on AppSumo? Double the price on tier two and be done with it. Forcing users into a monthly subscription is 100% not the right way of doing it though.
As it is now, to pay a frickin' monthly fee to use this on a monetized YouTube channel, that is simply a no-go.
I will wait a couple of weeks to see if the terms change and will ask for a refund if it stays with the ridiculous *MONTHLY* fees for commercial use.
Seriously, that is just so insane.
Sorry to be so blunt, but it had to be said.

I really like it....
I really like this. It's user-friendly and produces great videos.
I do agree that the WL/commercial pricing is a bit of a mess.
It would also be nice if there was a bit more transparency regarding the terms for business use as compared to commercial use (reselling).
My understanding is that we may use the tool for our own business/projects but require a commercial license to resell. If this is correct, this should be laid out clearly on the deal page.
Outside of this, the tool is solid, user friendly and produces great videos. I'll be using it personally as part of my travel blog as I travel the world, and I hope AvoMap sticks around for the long run.
