BannerBoo is focused specifically on creating and optimizing banner ads for various advertising and social networks, while Canva is a more general graphic design tool that allows users to create a wide range of designs for different purposes.

You will never find in Canva such things as HTML5 animated ads or AMPHTML, embedded HTML5 ads, banner generator etc.
