I've been searching for a good HTML5 tool for a while, and there aren't many choices out there.

I'm a cartoonist, so I loved SmithMicro's MotionArtist for making motion graphics/motion comics, but that's now discontinued. Hype is only available on the Mac, and so complex I never ended up using it (despite it costing a lot). Google Web Designer felt rigid and confusing.

So I was excited when I saw BannerBoo show up here. The interface takes a bit of learning, but it's friendly and approachable with a TON of nice premade designs of all different sorts. It has many export options -- static images, videos, and even HTML5 -- so I feel I'm going to get a lot of use out of this great tool.

The one tiny thing I'd change is the screen that allows you to set the canvas size. There's a handy grid below to show you the standard sizes for all the various social media platforms (thank you! because they're always changing), but clicking on them doesn't prepopulate the numbers into the size fields, which would be nice.

Otherwise, I'm really happy to have this tool. Thanks to the developers!
