Q: How does claiming shifts work? Chinese?

Hello Camelo team,

We do volunteer work for cruise ships coming to port, so our times and days vary weekly and seasonally. Would we be able to create shifts by the hour that are open for up to 4 volunteers to claim? If someone can't come, they can offer their spot on the shift for someone else to claim? Also, do you have Traditional Chinese? Thank you for your help.

A: Hello,

Our app is a great fit for your needs! You can create open shifts that volunteers can claim. You also have the option to restrict who can claim a shift or enable approval requirements, ensuring that each claim request is reviewed and approved by you before assignment.

If an assigned volunteer can’t work a shift, they can either offer it to other team members or swap it with another...

Q: Transportation: Drivers pick-ups and drop-offs

Drivers pick up and drop off clients' goods.

1. Can drivers clock in at pick-up locations and clock out at drop-off locations?

2. Do clients also receive notifications when the job is completed?

A: Hello,

Drivers can clock in at the pickup location and clock out at the drop-off location. However, if you want to require drivers to be physically present at the pickup location to clock in and at the drop-off location to clock out, we currently support restricting this to only one location—either pickup or drop-off. This is because our system allows only one job site per shift.

A: Hello,

Thanks for reaching out!

To assign an employee for an entire day, you can create a shift that covers your business’s full working hours. This ensures employees know their scheduled shifts along with details like the job site, break times, and other relevant information.

Let us know if you have any further questions. We’re happy to help!

Best regards,

Q: Multiple Workspaces Request

Dear Camelo Team,

I recently purchased Plan 4 and noticed that it includes only one workspace. Would it be possible to have just five workspaces instead, without any additional fee? That would really help me manage my work more efficiently.

I’d appreciate any assistance you can provide. Looking forward to your response!

Best regards,

A: Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Camelo!

We support unlimited workspaces, but each workspace is billed separately. Each AppSumo code can only be applied to a single workspace.

This means you can create multiple workspaces under the same email, but you’ll need to purchase additional codes for each one.

Let us know if you have any further questions!

Q: Task Management Feature Inquiry

Hi Camelo Team,

Does Camelo have a task management feature?

My use case is as follows: I have an e-commerce store, and I might connect my store with Camelo via API, either directly with Shopify or Webflow through Pabbly. When a customer submits a question or inquiry, it would trigger an event that creates a task in Camelo. A store admin could then assign the task to an employee, manage and monitor its progress, and eventually close the ticket.

Looking forward to your response.

Best,

A: Thanks for reaching out!

Yes, you can achieve this either through our open API or via Pabbly. You can find our API documentation https://docs.camelohq.com/.

We're currently working on the Pabbly integration, and I'll update you as soon as it's ready.

Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!
