4.1
Taco ratings
Canyon's user-friendly interface, AI resume enhancement, and responsive support have been well-received by customers. However, some users have reported minor issues with AI repetitiveness and occasional errors in resume parsing. With an overall rating of 4.1, Canyon seems to be a solid buy for those in need of a job application platform. Plus, with a 60-day money-back guarantee, it's worth giving it a try!

Still very clunky and has a number of problems making it difficult to work with
Resume builder reduced scoring for a job after asking for it to enhance my resume via AI.
The software is not yet there to make resumes into something stronger, I would say if you are hoping to find something that you will put in more work than previously, because you also need to check over the resume that the AI gives you. In my case, the Canyon also started to hallucinate new educational experiences I had.

Canyon Could Be Your New Favorite Job and Resume Tracker
What Makes Canyon Stand Out?
Easy to Use
First off, Canyon is incredibly user-friendly. Whether you’re just starting out or have a couple of years under your belt, its intuitive interface makes it easy to get up and running in no time. No more wrestling with complicated setups or spending hours on tutorials – Canyon gets straight to the point.
Decent AI Capabilities
Canyon offers some pretty decent AI features that can make writing specific resume content much smoother.
Areas for Improvement
Now, let’s keep it real – no tool is perfect, right? While I’m loving what Canyon brings to the table, there are areas where it could shine even brighter.
Robustness of AI
I’ve noticed that sometimes the AI can be a bit repetitive. It gets the job done but leaves room for improvement in terms of versatility and depth. Imagine if it could learn and adapt more dynamically – now that would be something!
White Label Version
Here’s an idea that could take Canyon from good to great: offering a White Label version! This feature would allow business owners within the AppSumo community to manage their clients seamlessly. Think about how cool it would be if you could customize and brand this amazing tool as your own?
Higher Priced Tier 2 for Businesses
If they roll out this White Label version (fingers crossed!), having another higher-priced Tier 2 aimed at AppSumo business owners would make perfect sense. It’d offer additional functionalities tailored specifically for business needs.
Why You Should Consider Keeping Canyon for Personal Use
Despite some limitations, I’m keeping Canyon as part of my personal toolkit because it works well for my needs. I like the idea of having a central location for my resume, cover letter and job app items.
Final Thoughts
Good idea to give Canyon a try. It might just become your new favorite tool in no time. And hey, who knows? With continuous improvements and potential new features on the horizon, we might see even more reasons to love it soon.

Promising but not consistent
If you need a resume editor it’s fine but to automate job applications it only autofills your name and email. Please help us apply more efficiently!

Our autofill does answer arbitrary input fields as well. Which sites are you applying on and which questions would you like answered that it isnt?
I can take a look and try to add support for it!

solid 4-Star rating to start with benefits already realized
This review is more of a First Impression as I still have to work through the chrome extension and how well Canyon submits and tracks job applications (I noted another reviewer experiencing some difficulty in this regard).
Thus far, I have used Canyon to upload and edit my CV using the AI-enhancement features that are provided. I can state that my CV definitely has an improved description for accomplishments with each role held, which is a big positive. The one slight drawback is when running the AI on the text, while the overall excerpt is improved, the opening action verb is largely being duplicated with the same word. So I do have to go in and refine the action verb used while the rest of the re-write is quite positive. I did run the AI wizard several times on the same text, but the change was minimal and notably not performing as well as other AI-tools I possess from AppSumo to rewrite text snippets.
So, in effect, while the AI was helpful, it falls a bit short in total execution and I hope it may be improved further. I still have to get to other functionality to provide a more comprehensive review of all the features but I think this platform has already produced good results that cover the investment for this tool. If it can do a good job in submitting and tracking applications, that will certainly be an added plus, and I look forward to updating my review as I go deeper into the platform.
I hope this first impression for now is helpful! Please also note that I had two questions and feedback for the canyon team, and they responded to both questions in less than one hour! So consider this a 4.5 rating for now but I want to keep them motivated to keep enhancing the tool and going deeper with their AI rephrasing functionality.

A lot of potential but needs work. I listed what needs to be improved.
Right now, the software is four stars in good faith (the team is responsive; I was thinking of 3, but they were quick to respond to my ongoing feedback and are working on fixing the software), but it will quickly become five stars if some of the issues below are fixed especially the number one bullet. I will delete my review and give you a 5-star review once it is fixed.
This tool holds a lot of promise, which is why I've invested in it and am considering purchasing more licenses. However, I believe it's crucial that the issues I've outlined below are addressed in a timely manner to fully unlock its potential.
When exporting the PDF from UseCanyon, ensure it can be read correctly by Workday and other ATS software. When applying and auto-filling in Workday, some text gets weird characters, and the incorrect sections fill the wrong job fields. It wasn't solved by converting the PDF to Word, so I had to recreate my resume in Word section by section to keep the formatting, which wasted a ton of time, then convert it back to a PDF that loaded correctly in Workday and other ATS software. Make sure exports don't have these errors, and these errors should also not easily pass over to a Word conversion if they are fixed.
When exporting to PDF, also allow export to Word as well.
Allow mock interviews to have an option to create all interview questions and scenarios so you can skip ahead instead of answering one by one.
We can choose if we would like the AI to rewrite which sections of a resume match job descriptions or all sections. Let us pick things one at a time, like the summary of job positions, to insert keywords that match job descriptions.
The Chrome plugin doesn't autofill correctly, or I am doing something wrong. It is supposed to fill out fields on job applications to speed up the process, such as your address or name. I end up using my browser auto-fill in my browser. I feel it needs work.
If I test the software more thoroughly, there will be a lot more to come.
