The app is pretty good. There are a few things that I think could be improved.
• Transcription takes a long time compared to other tools I use.
• Diarization needs improvement. It's great that it can distinguish between speakers. But it's extremely important for us to be able to re-label speakers in the transcription prior to download.
• User experience design can be improved. For example, on the "My Transcriptions" page, the upload box takes up 80% of the screen and the list of previous / finished transcriptions occupy the last 20% of the UI at the very bottom of the screen, requiring a scroll to see your list. This should be corrected.
• The "My Plan" page does not tell you how many minutes your plan includes or how many you have left. The only reference to minutes is on the "My Transcriptions" page and it just tells you how many you have left. It doesn't reference your plan total. It's all very disorienting.

I'm hopeful that the app continues to mature. It seems like it can be a good contender in the crowded AI transcription space.

I've been using ChatScribe Pro for several months now. In general I've been happy, but certainly the subtitling aspect (the most important element to me) could be improved. The system is quite random about how it splits up the text in terms of words on screen - Sometimes a single word for part of a second, sometimes 20 words that stay there for many seconds. It is difficult to edit the subtitles - I have taken to exporting them and editing in a different app. With a bit of work this could be MUCH better. It would be ideal to have some user defined settings around words on screen (maximum, minimum, etc.) On a positive note, the interface and ease of transcription is very good.

I'd like to use it but it repeats the speaker label multiple times when the same speaker is talking. I emailed support and got no response. Attempted to email them at a different email address but that is failing "address rejected".

I've been using it for a few days and it's been down twice, for 12+ hours at a time. 2 stars only because it spits out better transcriptions than Otter, but as a service it's completely unstable and unreliable. Purchase at your own risk. ***UPDATE Feb 14 2025: It's down AGAIN and it's not even like I frequently use this thing, so who knows how many times it's been down since my initial review on December 20 2025
