I just stumbled on this extension and had a webpage with a countdown timer to remind me of an event. Thankfully, I did not miss the appointment for the meeting.

The Chrome Tab Reminder works in Brave. It took me a few minutes of practice to learn how to set the timer and bell to turn yellow and automatically return to the tab when the notification is clicked. You know when the timer is set, because your tab will have a yellow bell. You also need to have notifications turned on in your browser to work.
