Very solid platform but limited discovery and analysis tools and a bad deal
First, my review is a bit biased because I purchased the tool mostly for the influencer discovery and analysis features, and I am not that interested in the UGC marketplace, CRM and the automated outreach sequences, which I prefer to conduct in other platforms. I may decide to use the marketplace down the line, but for now I just need a good platform to identify, analyze and potentially recruit influencers as affiliates for some programs I manage. I max stacked the deal and I am on the highest tier.
Let's start with the positives. From all the influencer management tools I've purchased on Appsumo, this one by far looks and "feels" the best. The UI is very nice, I like the design and overall structure. It's clean and intuitive, and very well thought-of. Another big plus imo is that the company is located in Switzerland and this gives me some peace of mind. The data provided on influencers is quite good, although it lacks certain things which I will discuss below.
Now, about the not-so-good things...
- The filters are very limiting, even for big influencers that I've worked with, and who can be easily discovered in other similar tools I've purchased on Appsumo (Btrendy, Eezycollab, Gleemo etc.). This doesn't work neither when I search for lookalike channels (I focus on YouTube), nor when I search for the specific channels to analyze them (I usually get the following message: "We are updating data for this account. Please try again in a few minutes."). Other times, I get the following error "Status: error ()", and some other messages. But for the premium price you pay for this, you expect it to work straight out of the box. And I am talking about some big channels, with 30K+ subscribers, not to mention the smaller ones which I think are not even in the database. - The export functionality is a hit or miss... it doesn't work 95% of the time for me. I get the following message, and nothing happens: "Audience Analysis PDF file is being generated. Please wait a few seconds and retry"
- The search filters allow you to use only hashtags and it doesn't work for most basic keywords. There is no option to enter your custom keyword, but it has to be a term in their database, so basically it uses their AI suggestions. Here is a recent search I just tried and it doesn't result in anything, unlike all the other platforms I mentioned above: "antidetect browsers". It doesn't suggest a topic, it simply says "No results found". So basically their suggestions are useless and unless you have the option to search for "exact match" keywords you need for your specific campaign, you won't be able to do any discovery with Click Analytic
- Like I mentioned, the details of a specific channel are quite good, and it even gives you an estimated price the influencer might be charging based the channel metrics and their location. However, what I miss here is any data related to fake followers/comments/likes which is increasingly becoming harder and harder to tackle, especially with influencers buying fake comments and using LLMs
- There should be some onboarding/tutorials for the search function and they do have a popup that is supposed to do this, but it is bugged and there is no video... all you can do is close the window, and maybe book a live demo
Now for the really bad ones...
- The limits are SUPER BAD and I just don't see the value for money... Just compare it with another tool that is currently live on Appsumo - Gleemo - and you realize the offer is not only "not competitive" but it is flat out insulting... I very much support the strategy of crafting an offer which is sustainable for the business, I work in the SaaS industry and I understand the issue with this. But I just don't see why people and companies would invest in this deal when for a much smaller price they can get waay more, and the discovery results will be even better than what you can get from CA
- The platform takes credits for opening THE SAME influencer insights, even though they claim otherwise on this deal page. I just ran a test. Analyzed an influencer, saved it in a list, closed the tab, and then reopened it again. After clicking on the influencer I already opened and paid credits for, it deducts another "creator analyzed" credit - SERIOUSLY? Super low limits like these and they charge you twice? Currently, there is no way for you to save the insights, and each time you need to see them you will pay again, and again, and again. And no, the export function doesn't work for me so there is no workaround
- There are no team members... I just paid $350 and I can't even have my VA log in and do some research for me... I don't want to give admin rights to VAs. I mean, is it that big of a deal if they allow a couple of team members with the highest tier? Gleemo on the other hand, offer up to 12 team members
I maxed stacked this but I don't know whether it is a keeper yet...
