Hello,
1. Can the domain be replaced?
2. If the domain is replaced, does all the SEO optimization made by your website stays on that website where the first domain is placed?

Yes you can replace any domain at anytime, but once you replace it the old domain optimizations will be removed. so it's better to have a new code for each new domain.
