I purchsed this product & use it.
Observation #1. 101 basic features. In 2025, those features will feel like something you can start generating by yourself via Claude. Basic features everyone else has offered for ages.
Observation #2. The product isn't evolving at all.
P.S. I'm not even taking into account their Apollo.io clone attempt because there's no chance it's anywhere near those systems; most emails are non-existent and/or outdated. This isn't the value, value is in what they can do around and for LinkedIn accounts.
Observation #3. LinkedIn restricts accounts more often than not (more and more). It was okay in the past, nowadays LinkedIn has gotten better with detecting those things, and Closely is not evolving at all, so here we are...
Observation #4. To recap, their product manager / CEO needs to understand users' needs and features that will help get better profile visibility, engagement, low-cost marketing, etc.
Proposing a DM feature but instead of on LinkedIn - on their platform type of features is a joke. 'Nice to have' features when you really don't know what to do next.

Apr 25, 2025Hi there,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We appreciate your feedback and would like to address a few points:
1. Our team is constantly working on releasing new updates based on client feedback. Our roadmap is driven by what our users request the most, so if a feature hasn’t been released yet, it means it hasn’t been as widely requested. We prioritize features that enhance our clients’ experience. As for the Lead Finder, it's not our main offering, and we’re not aiming to compete with Apollo’s database. Our primary goal is to provide powerful automation tools to help users get the most out of their LinkedIn and email campaigns, and that’s what we’re constantly improving and updating.
2. Regarding LinkedIn account restrictions, we know this has been a concern for some users. LinkedIn’s recent updates impacted all automation platforms, not just Closely. Since then, we’ve worked hard to adapt and align with these changes, and I’m happy to say the situation is now stable. Our updated LinkedIn Safety Guide for 2025 provides best practices to ensure your account stays in good standing, and our support team is always available to assist with safe campaign setup.
We’re committed to continuously improving, so if you have more suggestions, we’re all ears!
