It's okay, but there is room above.
While I don't have it fully integrated into my workflow, there is definitely stuff that could be done better. It definitely is not Mobile first in the UI department, and I am always asked who I am, my company and my role, ot doesn't get saved somehow. I really need to dig into the VS Code Extension though, as I guess this is the intended use. My first test was meh, though. Asked it to review my code and it said to change my variable name to something more meaningful, and it gave me the exact same name as a suggestion. That raised the eyebrows a little bit. I hope i didn't pay this money for nothing.

Looks good on surface and then not so much
Purchased the Tier 3 because it had the most potential for me.
Little did I know.
I'm currently using GitHib CoPilot, but thought to save some money and get more features.
Unfortunately, nothing works for me and support is no longer replying after the initial email with a list to try.
Feature like inline coding is coming i Q1 2025 they say, but have no roadmap to reveal.
The features Debug, Code Review and Optimize code gives me a blank screen.
So I payed 299 USD for a commenting tool
If I dont get this fixed with in the next week I will have to ask for a refund, which I really dont want as the feature list seems super great

Dec 17, 2024Hi there
Its unfortunate to hear that you were having issues while using CodeMate.
We have lots of features planned in Q1 2025 like
- extended context inside chat with reference from Terminals, Warnings, Errors and Git commits along with codebase, repos and docs which are there currently.
- Multiple models support
- Auto complete code
- our all new Agentic mode coming up inside VS Code which...

Potential but missing the mark...
Via the chat, things actually worked decently, got some unique yet functional sub routines that were very surprising, however, I must be a heavy user with big requests considering I went through my monthly tokens in a single day. FYI, I only went with tier 2 for now. So I almost have no choice but to upgrade just to get a bit more use. Their VS plugin is only for VS Code and will not work with VS Pro. Website has plenty of issues, such as trying to go to profile page, error received every time. Have I reached out to support? No. This is a blunt review of everything from out the gate. When in chat, and code is returned, the preview window opens but can't actually be closed. If you are working on small projects or need simple answers, then this should work great, but the limitations, bugs, and lack for other IDEs is very off-putting personally.

Edited Dec 16, 2024Hi @roland
Apologies for the inconvenience caused.
1) Tokens in LLMs are calculated based on three factors:
1. Input: The query provided by the user.
2. Context: Additional information like files, searches, or knowledge bases attached to the query.
3. Output: The model's final response.
Simple queries with no added context consume fewer tokens. When context is attached, the system processes this...
