I really like how easy I can deploy n8n with CodeSmash. However, there is still some confusion. Hope it can be clarified:
1. Pricing AWS I just deployd one n8n-App on a "micro" instance. I had no instance before, so CodeSmash created that instance for me. But I don´t know anything about the pricing of the instance, where can I adjust the instance and see the pricing on AWS? It feels a little bit spooky if CodeSmash can create "costs" on AWS without me getting any information.
2. Instances I still don´t understand how I can create multiple n8n-installations on one instance: I don´t want to buy (and pay) a new instance for every n8n. How is it possible to add a second n8n-installation into one instance?
A: Currently, you will get a new instance every time, but yes, many users have requested a feature where you can deploy multiple apps on a single VPS, so I will add that. In CodeSmash you can always go to your Accounts page and see the Cost Explorer data for each service. Although you will need to enable the Cost Explorer in AWS first. You can see the Lightsail pricing here...
But it still means: When I deploy I have no Idea what costs are created with the deployment. I only can look for the costs AFTER it was deployd.
And the three smallest deployments are shown as "3 months free" on Lightsail. Is this also happening when I deploy them via CodeSmash? And can this "3 months free" be used multiple times?
Say I use "Trickle.so" , a platform where vibe coding is done, which i believe they use their own db (appears to be MongoDB based) and next or reactjs platform with all the libraries. Now, i can export the code and all but are there instructions on how to migrate over to a VPS with all things intact, would this be the right tool to do just that?
A: Depends on what you really want to do. I suggest instead of VPS for website you use our serverless setup. It doesn't cost anything while nobody is browsing as opposed to VPS. With VPS you pay regardless of if anyone is browsing. Lightsail is only $5 monthly, but serverless is even less than that, maybe few cents. I´m totally new to Lightsail and I wonder if I have to create a new Instance for every App that I want to deploy or if I can create only one Instance on Lightsail and then add multiple Apps there.
