Q: Why would I get an error code Failed to Connect with Google: 500: failed to read the sheet if I have ...
authenticated with Google as well as set the sheet to public view and shared with Columns?

I can take a look at it and check what went wrong, do you mind sharing your spreadsheet id/url, you can send it to support@columns.ai if you don’t want to paste it here.

Hi Summer, I just tried this URL and found that Google Sheet API does not support this document, the reason is that it is an Excel file.
We are currently using Google Sheet API to read all Google spreadsheets, it does not support Excel files though it can render them for you on the GSheet app. You may want to convert it to a native Google Sheet (eg. copy/paste cells into a new sheet) to be able to be used in Columns.
