Commenting as a heavy Tableau user and a consultant: think about Columns AI not as a Tableau or BI replacement, but rather a convenient and beautiful way to tell and share stories by numbers. The two things I loved about Columns: 1. easy to share with audiences via links, 2. ability to restrict embeds to specific domains for those who share via webpublishing. While some charting options may not be available, Columns AI options would cover many ways to tell stories and the process may be easier for those who are not doing visualizations professionally. I really like this product and what its able to do!!
I still have to further explore it, but until now it is really nice.
Its a great alternative for BI or Tableu for a super price!!

I was using columns for my final university thesis. It is an incredible tool and so easy and intuitive to use. I could not recommend the tool enough. Fortunately, I personally talked to Shawn a few times super nice founder and very patient to explain to me how the tool works etc....

This is an underrated product and I can see this maturing well if enough support is there. That can only be possible if reviews and feedback help ensure a better product for all. The features and integration with AI is very promising.

I would love to see a better formatted dashboard for sharing but it’s a minor quibble as this one is a welcome addition to my purchases.

Excellent founder who put his career's expertise in Data Science towards making graphs accessible for us. As long as you have the data in column format, you can upload it and get amazing, beautiful results. They need to keep rolling out more features for integrating data Finding so we can do this even easier, or have an accessible guide with links to trustworthy top data sources, but other than getting the data, if you already have it, this is your tool for visualization!
