Q: Missing few features

Hi Colin,

Before we review and give the rating - better understand if these are already in the pipeline:

1. As applicant, I want to click on each job instead of expanding the job in the same page
2. As applicant, I want to click on Company profile to understand - what type of company I am applying to.
3. As applicant, I want to apply without going through long list, but just two fields - email and attach resume
4. As applicant, if there are 1000 categories then left side menu bar will not work, so i would like to search the category and click on that specific category and visit the category page for all the listing.

As Admin,

1. Can i change the job layout from the list to small boxes
2. Also, can we have big search box on main page to focus applications to apply the Job instead of had to go through "Browse Jobs" option

Thanks

A: Hello - happy to answer these!

1) While all jobs have a dedicated public link you can share or submit to other job boards, the Dropboard job listing currently shows jobs together and allows you to expand/collapse their content, not open them in other windows.
2) You can enable client logos to show for jobs and you can also create shared content sections that you can quickly add to jobs that could include "About the company" information. This lets you write company information in one place and easily include it in the description of any job.
3) If you like, the application form can be simplified down to first name, last name, and email address through customizations you can apply in your embed or portal settings under "Application form."
4) The current design intention for job categories is not to be in the thousands. We recommend 20-40, though going a little higher than that would still be a good experience for candidates. A category page is a good suggestion!

As an admin:
1) Currently the job listing view has many ways you can tweak and customize it, but it's main layout is fixed in list format.
2) Good suggestion and one we will consider. You CAN make your "jobs" page the root page of your site though which brings people right into the action. In your portal settings under "Navigation", you can move it to the top and then have what is currently your portal's "home" page be more of an "about" page.

Hope that helps!
