Q: Project based job board
Hi Colin :)
I wonder if you have any plans to add a sub-niche for your project.
Do you see your SAAS only for full-time job listings?
There are so many experts and agencies that help solopreneurs develop skills in delegating tasks/projects. And there are a lot of those who help VAs and freelancers to upskill and connect with potential clients.
I'm in the process of launching a project for both sides: micro / expert biz and Virtual Assistants.
And the minimum requirements I'd like to see in SAAS like yours in addition that you already have:
1. Job category (full time, part time, project)
2. Project type (sub-categories)
3. Candidates: N of projects completed, rating (star based), clients' feedback on projects - visible on a candidate's profile page.
4. Clients: N of projects ordered, rating (could be done later).
What do you think?

Apr 18, 2025A: Hi there -- exciting stuff here in your questions!
Regarding adding Russian: adding a new language incurs a non-trivial cost for us, so we're only able to expand our languages when at least one customer is requesting it who is either on an annual plan or is paying for the Recruiter plan on a monthly basis. Unfortunately, this means that the economics don't work out for lifetime deal customers.
1) Yes, we do have job categories and employment types baked into Dropboard! These are customizable and you can add them as filters in your embed or white-labeled portal: https://youtu.be/sUmjCyw1fs8
2) This is something we want to do at some point, but you should be able to get by using our candidate attributes. You could create a "Star Rating" attribute for candidates and our advanced candidate search would let you filter by those values. Here's a guide that shows attributes in use like this: https://youtu.be/bHbq-_Hb7qQ
3) Dropboard supports candidate notes, which is available to clients. This allows them to take rich-formatted notes on any candidate and have that information shared between the team. Guide on that here: https://youtu.be/mAtM07TnD9w
4) Not sure exactly what you mean on this one, but it could potentially also be handled by candidate attributes as I mentioned in #2.
I hope that answers it all. Let me know if I can be more helpful!
