Q: I am considering utilizing your broadcast SMS services to engage with a wider business audience.

However, before proceeding, I seek clarity on a crucial aspect of this marketing strategy.

Could you please provide detailed information on the legal implications and potential risks associated with sending unsolicited text messages to businesses that have not explicitly opted in to receive such communications? Specifically, I am interested in understanding:

How does your service ensure compliance with laws like the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and state-specific regulations, particularly when messages are sent to businesses without prior consent?
What measures and best practices do you recommend to your clients to mitigate the risks of legal repercussions from sending unsolicited texts to businesses?
In the event of a recipient raising a legal objection to receiving an unsolicited message, what support or guidance does your service offer to the sender in addressing such concerns?
Understanding these aspects is vital for me to responsibly and legally utilize SMS marketing as a tool to reach potential business clients. Your insights and guidance on this matter will be greatly appreciated and will assist in making an informed decision about employing your services.

Thank you for your time and assistance. I look forward to your prompt and detailed response.

A: In the United States in Canada, it is illegal to send unsolicited text messages and it comes with very big fines. We do not recommend anyone send text messages to people who have not opted in to receive text messages.

If someone is utilizing our platform and we find out that they are Sending unsolicited messages. We will remove them from the platform and they will not be given a refund.

I hope that answers your question sufficiently.
