Q: Documentation lacking a lot of informations

Hi,

If we want to use the API to send emails the documentation is pretty thin.
Not much information about how to integrate for a dev, neither what are the limits of the API.

Can you work on that ? Or sending more info here ?

A: Hey there,

We are improving the API almost daily based on our customers' questions.

If you want to know more ask concrete questions so I can answer, to help you with your needs.

What do you mean by "limits of the API"?
There are our docs for not to use the API and the endpoints, explained there too: https://docs.emailit.com

Let me know how can I help.

Like i said, there is nothing that can help in your documentation on how to use the API to send emails.
Neither documentation of limitations of the said API, like does it support batching ? If yes, what is the rate ?
Currently if you want to grab the deal and want to use the API on a custom website, or just build an integration for any existing CMS you cant.

Hi Brockway,

We already have hundreds of customers who integrated our platform using SMTP or API, using our docs or discord https://discord.emailit.com.

The API limits are 60 requests per second. We do not support batching, as the API is currently mainly intended for transactional emails. This will be however improved in the future, for sending marketing emails, probably even in batches.
