Q: Transactional emails

So if transactional emails are not included (even in Tier 6) in the deal, then how businesses supposed to handle their transactional emails? Using Encharge? These are critical for eCommerce or SaaS businesses.

A: Hey Solu — totally fair question, and you’re absolutely right that transactional emails are a critical part of SaaS and eCommerce workflows 🙏

To clarify things plainly:

👉 Transactional emails are not included in the 2025 AppSumo LTD, even on Tier 6.
They’re part of our Premium plan, which is separate from the Growth plan this deal is built on.

So what are your options?
If you're on the LTD:

• You can still handle marketing automation, onboarding flows, reminders, newsletters, and even post-purchase sequences — all the core marketing stuff is included.
• But if you need true transactional email capability (like password resets, account notifications, or receipt-style system emails that must go out instantly and reliably), you’ll need to use a dedicated transactional email service (e.g. Postmark, Mailgun, SendGrid) alongside Encharge. That’s very common in the SaaS world.

We know this might feel like a missing piece, especially for eCom and SaaS users. But including transactional infrastructure under a lifetime deal — with unlimited emails — just wouldn’t be sustainable long-term. That’s why we’ve kept it in Premium, which is our subscription tier.

If you're deeply reliant on transactional email and want to stay within Encharge for it all, you can always upgrade to Premium — but no pressure! The Growth plan still gives you enterprise-grade marketing automation for a one-time price.
