Encharge is highly regarded for its intuitive UI, robust automation capabilities, and wide range of native integrations. Users particularly appreciate the drag-and-drop flow builder and behavior-based segmentation. While some users have mentioned the absence of lists and the inability to auto-map tags using CSV import as minor drawbacks, Encharge continues to be a reliable choice for those seeking an email marketing automation tool. With an overall rating of 4.8 and positive feedback, it's definitely worth considering Encharge, especially with the added assurance of a 60-day money-back guarantee.

A very useful and professional tool, but...

I have worked with many email marketing tools before. I really like Encharge because its UI/UX is very clean.

However, for it to be truly usable and integrable in a complex project under the Tier 6 license from AppSumo, I really miss transactional emails. I would greatly appreciate the addition of the option to send them within Tier 6. Otherwise, I’ll have to send them through another service, which is very impractical...

Thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback, Josef — and for the kind words about the UI/UX 🙏 Means a lot.

Totally hear you on transactional emails. Right now, they’re part of our Premium plan only, and not included in any of the LTD tiers (even Tier 6). We know that’s a limitation for more advanced setups, and we’ve had internal discussions about how to handle this for power users like...

Hands-on with encharge

I purchased Tier 6 of Encharge – with no sponsorship from either AppSumo or Encharge. This review is based entirely on my own experiences.

Over the past few years, I’ve tested several well-known email marketing tools like Brevo, Mailerlite, Active Campaign, convertkit.

All of these tools have their strengths. They offer solid features and are suitable for a wide range of use cases. But none of them truly convinced me in the long run.

After all this time, I can honestly say: With Encharge, I’ve probably finally found the perfect email marketing tool.

A bit about me: I’m a solopreneur and content creator. I don’t run a traditional online store like WooCommerce or Shopify. I sell my products through ThriveCart.

My focus is clearly on growing my newsletter list. I send out a weekly newsletter and have already set up automated sales funnels (with more in the planning) to promote my digital products more effectively.

👍 What I Really Like About Encharge
After several weeks of intensive use, I want to highlight three features that have been true game changers for me:

📌 Flexible Segmentation
The segmentation features in Encharge are outstanding. I can create my segments exactly the way I need them for my workflows – completely tailored to my processes. And the best part: I can adjust these segments at any time without having to rebuild anything from scratch.
Compared to working with static lists, this is a huge improvement in terms of clarity and flexibility.

📌 Flow Builder & Automations
The Flow Builder is hands down the highlight for me. I’ve worked with many tools – but this visual automation editor is the best I’ve ever used.
It’s intuitive, powerful, and honestly, it’s fun to work with. It allows you to build automations not only quickly, but also in a logical and clearly structured way – a big plus for anyone who likes working with clean, visual processes.

👎What Could Be Improved
As much as I love working with Encharge, there are still a few areas where I see room for improvement based on my day-to-day use:

📌 Email Sending Delay at the Beginning
At first, I was a bit confused that my emails took several minutes to be sent. Only later did I find out that every new account goes through an automatic warm-up phase to optimize deliverability.
This makes sense in principle – but I think it would be helpful if this were communicated more clearly from the start.
The good news: after just a few days, emails are sent within seconds.

📌 No Option to Bulk Delete Contacts
A more technical request: it would be great to be able to delete multiple contacts at once – rather than having to open each contact individually.
Especially when cleaning up test data or incomplete entries, this would be a real time-saver.

👉 Final Thoughts
At this point, I can honestly say that I’m very satisfied with Encharge.

Initially, I was a bit skeptical because Encharge doesn’t offer as many native integrations as, for example, ActiveCampaign. However, I’ve been using Pabbly Connect to bridge that gap – and it has worked quickly and reliably.

Overall, Encharge has exceeded my expectations in many ways, and I’m glad I made the switch.

Thank you so much for this thoughtful, hands-on review 🙌🙌

Reading how you’re using Encharge as a solopreneur for weekly newsletters, and automated funnels — that’s exactly the kind of use case we designed this for. And hearing the Flow Builder is your favorite part… I personally agree as well, it’s one of the best things we’ve ever built 😄

Appreciate you calling out the areas for improvement...

I'm very happy with Encharge.

I purchased Tier 5 in the previous Encharge campaign on AppSumo. At the time, I was working with Active Campaigns and was afraid to make the switch, in case Encharge was one of those tools that disappears quickly. It wasn't.

In February 2025, I decided the time had come. I'm not particularly skilled with these types of tools, so I decided to study their knowledge base from start to finish. It took me four or five days to understand the new concepts, and I finally made the switch.

So, I've been using Encharge for three months now, and I've set up the automations I need (they're called flows here), activated Double Opt-In, migrated the tags to the leads I had in Active Campaigns, and I'm sending my newsletter twice a week without any issues. I've even created triggers with webhooks from other apps, like Thrivecart or WebinarKit.

However, this past weekend I discovered an error in an automation, as some emails were being sent in triplicate. I wrote to support on Saturday, and by Monday, Vince (from Encharge support) had fixed the problem in the automation, which was my fault.

So I can't be more grateful to Encharge.

Wow, thank you so much for sharing this — seriously made our day 🙌🙌🙌

Hearing that you took the time to study the whole knowledge base, made the leap from ActiveCampaign, and now have flows, tags, and double opt-in all humming... that’s just incredible.

Also want to thank you a lot you for owning the setup and debugging process — and to Vince for catching it fast! 💪

We’re so glad you stuck...

Can't Create List and Tags have no use

I can't see anywhere to create list, I want to add my contacts to my specific list and run automation once they subscribed the list.

Unable to send broadcast based on tags.

I don't know how they have 5 stars even the basic features are not available.

Hey Faisal — totally hear your frustration, and I appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback 🙏

You’re right that we don’t use “lists” in the traditional sense like Mailchimp or older tools. In Encharge, segmentation is handled with tags, segments, and Flows—and yes, you can absolutely run automations when someone gets tagged or meets segment conditions.

As for broadcasts: you can send...

It takes 4 minutes to receive a Email!

All the features in Enharge are beautifully presented and make working with the editor extremely enjoyable.

Weaknesses:

1. Saving Emails:
It always takes a few seconds to save an email.

2. Missing Double Opt-In Process:
There is no double opt-in process. This is a huge problem for all countries in the Union, especially Germany.

3. Workaround for the Missing Double Opt-In Process:
Enharge suggests that after registration, a lead is tagged, then receives an email, and if the lead clicks on the link in the email, they are considered opted-in.

The problem with this is that it takes four minutes each time for the recipient to receive the email. This means they sign up on a form and have to wait four minutes for the first email to arrive for the opt-in.

Then they "confirm" the opt-in by clicking on a link and have to wait another four minutes to finally receive their download link.

Enharge will surely suggest that I can already include the download link in the opt-in email.

However, this is not practical or clean for me.

Furthermore, I strongly suspect that Enharge is trying to save costs by running the CRON jobs only every four minutes to save on server costs.

However, the most important function of an email marketing tool is the quick sending and delivery of emails.

Only one taco and no more. I spent my entire Saturday setting it up, only to find out that I have to wait a total of eight minutes to get to my download link.

Hey Lars — thanks for the honest (and very detailed!) review. Totally fair points, and I can see how this would be frustrating—especially after investing your whole Saturday into setting things up 🙏

Let me address each of your concerns directly:

1️⃣ Email delivery delay
We’re actively working to improve this. Right now, Flows can take up to a few minutes to trigger depending on system load—but...
