In your last message you promised that your team is actively discussing how you can better accommodate LTD users.
For the benefit of myself and others, can you please provide clarity on the current status of the credit system re-evaluation for LTD users to ensure fair value for the features we purchased?
Given that the new credit system has drastically reduced the usability of previously available features like TTS, could you also address how these changes align with AppSumo’s LTD guidelines? To my understanding AppSumo’s LTD guidelines emphasize delivering the full value of purchased features without significant post-purchase limitations. How do these credit changes align with those guidelines?

Jan 29, 2025A: First, we’d love to re-clarify that the purpose of introducing the new credit system was to offer more flexibility, allowing users to access all AI tools - not just the AI features within the editor (https://www.flexclip.com/editor/app?module=ai). This update was largely driven by feedback from LTD users, who wanted a more seamless way to use AI tools across the platform.
As you may recall, when you initially purchased the LTD plan, many AI features were not freely available - they required separate credit purchases. With the new system, LTD users can now utilize all AI tools more conveniently. However, the challenge we’ve encountered is that the newer AI tools have significantly higher operational costs, and many users have been allocating all their credits toward these tools. This imbalance has put a strain on our ability to sustain the service long-term.
To ensure that we can continue providing and maintaining FlexClip for all users, we had to make adjustments to the AI credit allocation. That said, we want to reassure you that LTD users will still receive AI credits annually. As long as we can maintain a sustainable cost structure, we remain committed to supporting our LTD users with ongoing access to AI features.
