Q: Why is the Gemini model still on an older version?
Gemini 2.5 has already been released.

Apr 25, 2025A: We do our best to keep models updated as soon as they’re available, but sometimes there might be a slight delay we’ve got a pretty packed roadmap with lots of priorities running in parallel.
That said, if Gemini 2.5 becomes available through our providers, we’ll definitely make it accessible on Followr. For example, just today we added support for OpenAI’s GPT-4o and o1 mini, on top of the GPT-4o mini we already had live.
JollygreenPLUSIt may be because LTDs have to operate on the older free flagship versions. The newest smartest models (like Gemini 2.5 / o3 / Claude 3.7 at the time of writing) cost significantly more per query. So, unless users brought their own API key and budget, it wouldn't be a sustainable update for all the LTD users.
