My Honest Review After a Year with Followr
I bought Followr over a year ago, and here's the TL;DR: Don’t buy this tool unless you're okay with wasting your time and missing scheduled posts.
The core feature — scheduling posts — simply doesn’t work reliably. Around 80% of my scheduled posts fail to publish. When they do fail, the error messages are either completely vague or make no sense. Even trying to manually repost the missed content often doesn't work.
Instead of fixing these basic but critical bugs, the team keeps adding flashy new features (like "Autopilot") that also don't function properly. It’s like putting leather seats in a car that won’t start — it looks good on paper, but it doesn’t get you anywhere.
The software has potential, but potential doesn’t equal performance. I’ve had to check manually every day to see if my scheduled posts actually went out — which defeats the entire purpose of using a scheduler.
Support? Slow to respond, and even when they do, they just ask for screenshots — no actual troubleshooting. For the last few weeks, I’ve been providing them with screenshots and screen recordings clearly showing the issues. Yet nothing has improved. For the past two weeks, not a single scheduled post has been published.
Coming from a software background myself, I can say that many of the UI/UX choices are not only counterintuitive, but also poorly designed from a software architecture and usability standpoint. Basic principles of good design are ignored, which makes the tool frustrating to use even when it does work.
I tried giving detailed, constructive feedback with simple and effective suggestions — but none of it has been implemented.
At this point, continuing to use Followr is wasting more of my time — so I’m switching to another tool that can at least do the basics right.
P.S. I don’t enjoy writing negative reviews, but I’m sharing this so others don’t waste their time and money like I did. I even warned the team last week that I would write a review if things didn’t improve. They didn’t.
PS2: I'm happy to adjust/rewrite the review as soon as these essential issues have been fixed

May 7, 2025I appreciate your honesty, even if the review feels a bit harsh. We’ve been working hard every day to support users not just through our support inbox, but also through direct calls and live sessions where I personally walk people through issues and gather feedback.
The reality is that we rely on third-party APIs from social platforms like Meta, and unfortunately, those sometimes fail or behave inconsistently. That said, we’re always improving both fixing bugs and building new features based on user feedback.
While it’s true that occasional publishing failures can happen, the system has come a long way and is becoming more stable and reliable every week. If you'd be open to it, I’d love the chance to walk through your current setup and help identify exactly what’s been going wrong. I’m available and happy to assist however I can.
Thanks again for your time and I truly hope we can turn this around for you.
