Q: Can You Offer Credit/Debit Card Use for Payment + Live Webinar Features in Forento?
Hi there, I'm Interested in Launching My Online Course, so I want to ask You that Can You Integrate other Payment Options like Debit/Credit Card use or Payoneer/Wise Option to Collecting Payments Online? Because I'm Living in Pakistan where Stripe & Paypal isn't Available, and it'll also help the buyers to purchase easily in our Areas as well.
Plus I'm Requesting another Feature which is Live Weekly Webinar with Students_ If You can Add this into Forento, then this could be Good Option For Course Creators.
A: Hey, myarchivables.info, thank you for your many questions. I've gone ahead and responded to all of them below.
You can invite team members to join you as co-admins of your Forento academy. This is a great option if you've got people on your team whom you'd like to collaborate with for your training initiative. Unfortunately, I don't think it will work for your use case, as it sounds as if...
1) Plan 1 with Limited customization, logo, thumbnails, images & colors. The Plan 2/4/6 no such function of Limited customization, logo, thumbnails, images & colors?
2) How to get full custom domain www.domain.com which not sub.domain.com? Any advice on current plans offer here?
3) For extra admin user, can setting right on certain sections like only allow create course only?
1. The " Limited customization, logo, thumbnails, images & colors" refers to the customization options available for the academy. The academy is where your products would go (courses, digital downloads, etc) and where users would sign up, purchase, and access them. You get to build your academy on all of our plans (including the free plan). Start...
Q: Automatic Invoices / office.lexware.de Integration / GDPR / Google Fonts etc.
Hi there,
I have a few questions before buying codes - hope you don't mind.
1st. How does Forento comply to GDPR? Where are your servers, where is your company based?
2nd. What about Google Fonts? I looked up the course page of one of your clients - a drummer from the Netherlands - his forento website doesn't comply to GDPR at all (which can become massively expensive) - at least in Germany if lawyers find out about such shady websites. Can I switch off Google Fonts and upload my own?
3rd. Is there an integration for office.lexware.de planned? This would make accounting very easy.
4th. What about the legal texts - are they available in German? Do I have to enter my own texts? Is there the option to fill in my own legal texts?
5th. If a customer buys a membership - some fields which have to be checked are mandatory. Is that possible
A: Hey Webkiter, thank you for the questions. I'm happy to help.
1. You can learn about Forento's GDPR compliance and how data is managed in the privacy policy on our website. Forento is a Swedish company. Our servers are based in the Netherlands.
2. There's a Google Fonts integration for the website builder within Forento, to easily install fonts. If you prefer, you can upload your own fonts...
Forento does not accept SCORM format courses at this time. You'll be able to easily upload your content manually, as text, images, videos, or other formats available. You can learn more about the course content within Forento here: https://help.forento.io/en/articles/6209550-courses
As for your second question, I'm not entirely sure what you're referring to...
