Q: Existing clients commission question
Hi
I own a small IT MSP with around 45 clients. Each one of those clients has on average 17 users.
They already pay us a monthly fee for their 'all you can eat' service which currently includes a portal that contains a LMS.
I want to drop that portal, but I need to provide a LMS for our content. Will this work in this scenario? if so, what plan is ideal for this?
Thanks!

Feb 20, 2025A: Hey there,
It sounds like a really interesting use case, and I definitely hope Forento can replace the current LMS you're using to provide training for your clients and their users.
From what you've mentioned, it seems like you're not looking for your clients to pay directly for the training on your academy, but rather, you're including the training as part of the monthly service you already offer. Is that correct?
For your setup, I’d recommend starting with the Basic Plan (or the Start Plan, if you need a landing page or a community forum feature for your users). You might also want to add the No Commission Add-on (which costs between $19–$29/month), as it removes the sales commission fee and allows you to assign and revoke access to courses for specific users easily. You can also disable public sign-ups, ensuring that only your clients and their users have access to the training.
If you'd like, feel free to reach out through our live chat on the website, and I’d be happy to help you get everything set up!
