Q: Invalid license key?!
I purchased Tier 3 and wanted to assign the license key to one of our clients who has already been using the Funnelforms Standard version. However, I’m getting the error message:
"Invalid license key! If this error is not explainable, please contact support!"
What do I need to do? What’s causing this issue?

May 30, 2025A: Hi, please download in our member area (https://member.funnelforms.io) the specific AppSumo version of the plugin. The license key will not work on the standard version as AppSumo has its own licensing system we needed to make a dedicated version for this.

Do the funnels and forms need to be rebuilt, or is there a way to transfer them?

No you can just switch the version. Deactivate the standard version, install the AppSumo version, activate it via the new license key and all your forms and funnels will be there.
Solution-WorkPLUSThis brings up the question: Is the AppSumo Version different from the normal one and/or does this mean we will get stuck on an older version in the future?
btw. other Plugin creators just exchange the AppSumo Key for a normal license Key. I don't say you have to do that, but that is way easier for the future instead of building another version every update.

Hi, there are no differences to the standard version with only one exception: The appointment booking function is not in the AppSumo version included. Cause we have to pay for every API call to the calendars as we are using a third party provider and that is not profitable via a lifetime deal.
We have integrated an update server, so the AppSumo version gets also updates.
