Hi - thanks for the quick reply to my previous question and clarification that the GetInvoice AI only looks at PDFs. I checked my email receipts folder to find that hardly any of the receipts are PDFs with the overwhelming majority being inline in the body content.
1. Does that mean GetInvoice will not be very useful for me currently? 2. Can I get the AI to only look at specific folders such as my receipts folder? This would give me some reassurance that the AI is not scanning all my emails.
A: 1. Currently not. But, this will be available very soon, so then it will be useful to you. 2. No, you can't right now. What you can do is not connecting the email, and just using the forwarding address to forward the emails you want extracted. This way you'll have 100% control on what's shared and what's not.
Hi there - GetInvoice looks really interesting. I'm just a bit confused about email access. I see you say the AI does not have access to emails but only to invoices. How can the AI have access to the invoices without also having access to the all emails in the inbox and also the email body content? Look forward to hearing from you. Many thanks.
1. API planned - great, because it's essential for me 2. What will happen, if some invoices do have more then 3 pages - will they be cut off?!? (then I'm out, because I get invoices with more than 3 pages)
Currently it's up to 3 pages, but we'll change that soon. Then, probably, 1 invoice will not consume 1 credit but more.
Q: Chrome Extension
I have trouble getting the invoices from Amazon to GetInvoice. Right now, I am using the free plan of GetInvoice to try it out, but unfortunately, it does not work. Does this feature not work on the free plan?
Could you please make a detailed video on how to use the Chrome extension in detail?
Will this scan my outlook and create a spreadsheet (csv, sheets or excel) of my expenses? I have all my expenses in 1 folder in outlook, can it be set to scan just this one folder?
Sounds great thanks, i only want the last year of expenses not everything from past years. How will this work with credits? I assume the credits are only used on "exported" data after I scan and select dates to export. Is this correct can you give a bit more info on how this works?

Jun 3, 2025A: Hey Harry! Thanks for the question :)
Currently on the emails we only look at the PDF attachments.
We are adding the email body support to also extract invoices from there, but this will be optional for users.
Hope this helps :)

Q: Questions
1) Does it have API capabilities?
2) How many pages per invoice does it support?
3) Does it pull the line items as well?

Yes, it should be working for the free plan. Do you still have credits? What region are you using on Amazon?
Feel free to contact our support directly via the chat on the dashboard so we can assist faster!

Yes we'll scan outlook and you can connect a GSheet to add all expenses there. For now, you can't set which folder to scan, it will scan all emails.

Each credit is an extracted invoice from your email. They're consumed when they get processed and appear on the dashboard, not when they're exported.
Hope this helps you understand better!
