Q: No way for a PDF or PowerPoint embed?

Currently, You can Embed PDFs using Google Drive, for presentations we have Google Slides and You will be able to embed all Microsoft Office apps in couple of days. Also We're introducing Canva, Slideshare and Prezi for presentations with our upcoming update 🚀

Hi Julie,
You can embed Microsoft/Office 365 apps with IFRAME embed.
1. Get Embed code - Open any Office365 file ( Word, Excel, Powerpoint..etc.) > click on FIle > Share > Embed, and copy the embed code (You can increase height of the iframe if you wish)
2. Embed in your Room - Open Heybase Editor > Drag and Drop the IFRAME component > In Embed Iframe pop-up click on Advance Options > And paste the copied Embed code in Add HTML field.
