Q: When was the last HireVire update? Eying the platform for paid recruiting but very worried about reliability..

Got to question 8 of 9 of demo on mobile and received errors:

navigator.mediaDevices.getDisplayMedia is not a function. (In 'navigator.mediaDevices.getDisplayMedia({video:{displaySurface:"monitor",width:{ideal:3840,max:3840},height:{ideal:2160,max:2160},frameRate:{ideal:60,max:60}}})',

So I scanned the QR to resume on another device and got a similar error.

navigator.mediaDevices.getDisplayMedia' is

An unexpected error occurred while trying to capture your screen.
Closing and reopening your browser might resolve temporary issues. (It didn’t)

When was the last time the platform has had major updates? The roadmap reflects little has been done over the years.

I offer paid recruiting but I couldn’t progress through the demo to get sample responses via email. Concerns that paying client will eventually get the same are valid.

It seems you got this issue on two different mobile devices, while trying the screen recording functionality. Is that understanding accurate?

Unfortunately screen recording responses don't work on mobile devices - we'll improve the errors around these early next week.

Your concerns regarding your customers are valid. I'd recommend trying to finish the demo on a desktop device. Let me know here or on our support chat if that does not work.

Yes, all mobile, which most of my demographics have. Is your recommendation a reasonable workaround?

Because im not understanding the logic of scanning a QR to continue an application on a desktop.

The platform isn’t mobile ready and needs to be or at least be clear about it.
