Total Rip Off

This product seems good, but it is a total rip off. I bought the software program with a lifetime license for about $1,000 USD. Then, they refused to provide any customer support, unless I upgraded and paid them $499/month. It is a total scam. I emailed them at least 20 times asking for help and each time their response time was about 1-2 weeks via email. Then the repeatedly told me that they provided no customer support to AppSumo purchases and I must use their published instructions for installation and operation. I complained that their instruction documents were inaccurate and under developed. Their instructional documents were outdated (the instructions told you to press buttons that were no longer in existence -- the instructions were from older, outdated versions of the program). The instructions were often incorrect, written in broken English, and flat out wrong. I complained so much that they finally told me that they would provide me with some installation support to install the program, but only if I paid them $500. Absolutely terrible experience. Total Rip off. My experience has been so bad that I don't know if I will ever use AppSumo again.

Over the past six months, our team has provided you with three one-on-one demo sessions to guide you through the platform setup and address your queries in detail. Despite our policy of email-only support for AppSumo customers (as clearly outlined), we accommodated multiple additional demo requests — even from alternate email addresses — to ensure you were not left without help.
You raised numerous tickets and queries, and we made every effort to respond, though we acknowledge that a few responses were delayed due to unforeseen team availability and holidays. That is a shortcoming on our part, and we’re actively working to improve both response times and documentation quality. In fact, we're currently overhauling our help center and user interface to make onboarding more intuitive and seamless.

While we do offer a premium support plan that includes dedicated setup assistance and daily hand-holding for those who need high-touch onboarding, this is entirely optional. We shared this option only after multiple requests for daily support, which goes beyond the scope of our lifetime deal.

We understand your frustration and are genuinely sorry you felt unsupported. Our intention has never been to upsell or ignore users, but rather to maintain clarity on what’s included in each plan while still offering flexibility wherever possible.
