The QR codes are nice, but the lack of development is concerning
I needed nice circular QR codes with the client's logo inside. JoyQR can do that. But otherwise, it's very limited, the vCard is not white-labeled as advertised, and I see absolutely no product evolution for over a year. The deal with ElkQR here on AppSumo honestly seems like a much better option: more features, more power, and regular small updates that demonstrate the product still receives attention from its founder. Of course, I'll edit this review if things suddenly change, but as of the date I'm writing this review, that's what I can say about it.

You’re absolutely right that visible product updates have been limited recently. The main reason is that we’ve been fully focused on rebuilding and upgrading our backend redirection infrastructure—a critical and sensitive task given the large number of active users and QR codes. This upgrade went live a few weeks ago, and we’re now monitoring it closely to ensure everything works reliably before moving on to feature development.
We understand that this kind of “behind-the-scenes” work isn’t exciting to see from the outside, but it’s laying the foundation for faster updates and more powerful features going forward—including improvements to vCard customization, expanded white-labeling, and more.
We really appreciate your patience and will do our best to earn back your confidence. Feel free to reach out directly if you’d like to share more suggestions—we’re always listening.
