LeadDelta vs Kanbox: Mixed bag, both have potential for improvement
I´ve been buying and using the Lead Delta LTD here, which has a very good, and quite similar Inbox and CRM functionality as this deal. Kanbox, in comparison, seems a tiny bit more cleaned up and has the automation feature and Kanban. So I thought I´d give it a try and if it doesn´t work out can refund within my 60 day.
To state my overall conclusion upfront: For me the decision to change is somewhat of a mixed bag. At the moment, I am leaning toward Kanbox and spending more money, even though I do already own Lead Delta. But I am still testing, so maybe I will change my mind. If there was a LTD, or at least a discount offer on automation or credits, I wouldn´t have to think.
My reasoning:
Reasons to stay with LeadDelta:
- The big plus for me is price related: Automation is great (but also on the roadmap for Lead Delta) and Kanban (again, on the road map for Lead Delta), however, as a solopreneur I do have to do it all myself, and honestly, i most probably do outreach to new LinkedIn leads only a few months per year, or at most once a month with the aim of having a handful of additional clients a month at most. Given that LinkedIn is wary of overusing and spamming, this fits well with my intentions. Doesn´t feel right to fork out yet another monthly payment for this.
- On top of that Kanbox wants me to buy credits to send inmails and get info like emails from my connections. The amount seems small per credit, but given that both is free in Lead Delta (and here it shines because ALL my connection info is neatly available in Lead Delta without me having to click for it, or pay extra for it) it seems a waste to pay yet for another software that will charge me for the same information I already have.
- Lead Delta has a nice overview of my contact which Kanbox is missing
Reasons to go with Kanbox:
Having said that there are many small positives in Kanbox I really like:
- The picture of my connection is big, so I get a feel who I write to and what I want to say.
- I can "connect" with new people (imported before from groups) directly from Kanbox - Lead Delta makes me go to LinkedIn.
- Some contacts are open to mail - I can write them directly, again Lead Delta only allows me to write to 1st degree connections
- If I write the same email to a bunch of people, Kanbox let´s me attach my pdf - Lead Delta only allows that when I write one person
Kanban, can you hear my pain? Can you offer some kind of rebate for solopreneurs like us for automation and/or credits?
If you can, also please improve this:
- One overview page of all connections like Lead Delta has, giving an overview of countries, languages, industries and such.
- better tutorial of how to to the who outreach process with linkedIn, and where you recommend plus or navigator. For me, both are expenses I don´t really see the advantage of given my limited use. However, inmails seem to be essential for writing new contacts not yet connections (or am I wrong).
- Create the funcion of clicking "all" leads instead of having to go and click each box of each single contact if you want to send a mail
That said, I am overall happy with Kanbox and will go on trying it out for another 50 days or so :)
