May 15, 2024A: hello @EKO35845, Sorry for the later-than-usual reply. We don't get notified by Appsumo for replies to the existing questions that belong to us.
It is less about being a decision, and more about the product capability. We have built our system based on durations that are pre-set by the admin, and the end user just selects the start date and time. This works for personal services but not for nightly rentals, where the user needs to pick both dates.
Since we designed based on this objective, our backend and back-office management also don't support it. If we made the design more generic and flexible, we would have to compromise from the simplicity and ease of onboarding.
We don't consider making a pivot to this industry as of today, but we don't of course know what the future holds.

Hello! Our software is not built to serve rental properties. 1% transaction fee is applied when paid with credit card, but it is excluding Stripe fees, we don't yet support Paypal payments.
EKO313PLUSHi Orkun! Can you clarify if this decision is final and what it's based on that the system is not suitable for short term rentals? I have not tried your solution yet, but was also thinking of using it for rentals (not hour based, but night based). Why would you consider it's not possible with your system?
If you connected PayPal, would it be a personal or business PayPal account?
We are assessing adding PayPal and the above changes the integration and flow heavily if our sellers are business or personal, so we are trying to capture opinions.
