Q: Follow Up Questions

Hi Konstantin,

Thanks for the super fast reply! I tried responding to your reply, but AppSumo limits the reply length.

I may be able to work around the payment issue by using a third-party tool and manually adding users to Kopnstantly. It’s not ideal, but if the features are worth it, I’ll consider it. Your willingness to add the head-to-footer script is a big plus—it would’ve been a deal-breaker otherwise.

Just two quick questions:
1. On Tier 4, does the 500-user limit mean 500 registered students total, or 500 concurrent users? I think I know the answer but want to be sure.
2. You’ve been on AppSumo before, but I’m surprised there aren’t any in-depth review videos on YouTube. The ones I’ve seen look like low-effort promos. A few honest, balanced reviews would really help your sales.

Thanks again—still seriously considering it!

A: Thank you so much, Sye, for all your suggestions and kind feedback.
The 500-user limit includes everyone in the system: admins, managers, instructional designers, learners, etc. The beauty of our system is that you can deactivate and archive inactive users while preserving their results and statistics, freeing up seats for new users.

Also, the role model allows you to fine-tune permissions and...

Q: Pre-Purchase Questions

Hi, I’ve read your previous answers to other customers and have a few pre-purchase questions:
1. Can you confirm that Tier 4 includes CNAME (custom domain) and white-label options? It seems so from earlier replies, but I’d like to be sure.
2. Can end users (e.g. students) sign up and pay for courses directly? If so, which payment platforms are supported?
3. Can customer email notifications come from a custom domain (in some ways linked to white-labelling)?
4. Can I add header and footer scripts? I need this for embedding LaTeX to support Maths content unless you have it built in.
5. Is there an option to customise the site using CSS?

Thanks in advance for your help — I’m very interested in your platform but want to confirm these details before buying.
Best regards,
Sye

A: While we don't currently offer built-in support for coding assignments, you can easily integrate third-party platforms using our open API or embed existing solutions directly into a course via iFrame.

Q: Video protection?

So I can upload course videos, that's great, but are they protected somehow like in Thinkific?
I know real protection like Widevine would be overkill, but some basic download-protection, hls etc.?
And can make.com be used to automate things?
Best, Michael

A: Yes, Make.com can already be used with our open API, feel free to reach out to our support team, and we’ll gladly provide the documentation.

While we don’t offer built-in video protection (our main focus is on making course creation fast and easy), you can easily integrate third-party video protection tools into your course using an iFrame.

A: Hi, thanks for the question! Currently, we support importing SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004. Export is not available at the moment due to our non-linear approach to course creation, which isn’t fully compatible with the traditional SCORM format. We do have some ideas for implementing linear export, but it won’t be available anytime soon.
