Q: Custom Smtp email? Branding available like remove powered by? There are so many with free chats with their branding

Thanks so much for your interest and for your great questions!

At the moment, all emails sent from Kotae—whether to business owners or to website visitors using the chat—are handled directly by Kotae, and there isn’t an option yet to use a custom SMTP or branded sender email. However, we’re actively looking into offering more customization options like this in the near future.

Regarding branding, the option to remove the “Powered by Kotae” badge is only available on our enterprise plan and isn’t currently included with AppSumo or our standard monthly plans. That said, you can still customize your chatbot’s look and feel with your own logo, brand colors, and a personalized welcome message.
