This chat bought is excellent, there's no doubt about it, and it has a promising future as well. However, there are a couple of issues that I couldn't seem to get past. First, it mentions a demo that a client can sign up for, however, we don't perform demos, we offer free consultations. I couldn't find an easy way to change that word no matter what I did, it seemed to be baked into the software.

Second, I couldn't find a way to make sure that the chat bought showed up on my homepage. It was weird, it showed up on every other page, except for my homepage. That makes it very difficult, because sometimes people don't get past your homepage. I would love for the chat bought to start engaging them right from the homepage. I couldn't seem to fix that on my own either. I'm pretty savvy when it comes to software, so I can see this being a bigger problem for some others.

Finally, even though I didn't ask for it or order it, I got a login to another software created by the same developer, called Legit AI. The platforms are so similar that it appeared. I was working within the Chatbot while I was working in this new legit AI software. I spent a lot of time trying to figure it out only to find out. I would have to purchase it if I want to use it. I don't like the idea that developers will just assume that you want a login to another product just because you bought the chatbot.

As far as the software goes, I can see this being a five taco product, however, I have to give it four stars, and I had to refund it because I just don't have the time to figure out the idiosyncrasies the developer has laid out.

In fairness to the developer, I really didn't give them a chance to address my first two questions before returning the software. I was more put off by the fact that I was given a login to something that appeared very similar to what I purchased and I spent a lot of time trying to figure it out only to find out I would have to purchase another software. It was even more frustrating to find out that at one time the other software was offered on appsumo. If you're going to send the credentials for either software, no matter which one is purchased, they should both be offered on appsumo at the same time.

As promised, here is my (belated) 5 taco reviews.

Yes, this is one of the better products I've purchased here on Appsumo. It is so easy to use, and the AI agents do quite well with very little oversight. They also don't let clients speak about random subjects and always stay on point. For example I primed them to subtly share affiliate links when relevant and they do it very well.

I upgraded from tier 1 to tier 2 and might get tier 3 eventually. More is better, because each is unique and each one can cater to different user intents on different pages.

Only issue I have at the moment is they are hardwired to ask for customer contact information - which is a feature and not a bug in most cases - however for me, I would like to remove this feature. But no matter how much I tell them to not ask for customer information, they still do.

So I guess it's in their DNA and there's no easy way to remove this feature. But with GDPR and stuff, and since I don't manage an email list personally, I would like to remove this feature. I'm not going to personally contact clients since we are affiliates and not eCommerce.

A big shoutout to Ravi for being very responsive and addressing requests which are very specific to my use case. Very surprised that this product is not getting attention it should be. This is a real 💎 gem.

1st Review:

I was able to setup the bot in the first 10 minutes of signup. Add the URL (It crawls itself), add additional file, raw text. Then set up agent properties and the bot is ready.

I also like they retain functionality to train micro content. Really, does the job.

Widget setup properties are limited. Would like to see it more aesthetically pleasing.

I wouldn like if they make the roadmap public.

I've tried a few different AI chatbots and they were all too complex and didn't produce great results. LegittMate AI is super easy to train and update and is exactly what I was looking for.
