i just bought it and turned out...
I checked to the Q&A section and checked to see if it covered "Cantonese" as one of languages, and Customer Support says "Yes". To my disappointment, it does not.

I just tested it with this sentence:
我經常看那些為小朋友而設的電視或YouTube影片
And it transcribed perfectly.
I admit we might be wrong and this isn’t Cantonese dialect because we don’t speak Chinese, but the model we use (Whisper from OpenAI) definitely states that Cantonese is supported.
Maybe you selected a different Speaker's language in the settings? Or it could’ve just been a one-time error. Either way, we’ll figure it out! We’d love to hear from you at hi@letterly.app to cope with this.
