For all comparing to Grammarly
I jumped at this because I use Grammarly a lot & I'm about to pay for the year. If I can save money, I will.
I've tested them against each other with 5000 words that I hadn't previously proofed.
They both came up with different results/corrections. But Linguix's corrections were ever so slightly more human.
The document had a lot of '-'s, which Linguix insisted of changing to m-dashes. This took a bit of time to get through.
Overall, grammar and spelling wise, Linguix is fine. I would ditch Grammarly if I just needed this.
The stats are great and the website is fine...
However! It is a big however.
I am not just an office worker wanting to check my emails. I'm a blogger, SEO geek, and also sell my written content. Therefore, unfortunately, the lack of a Plagiarism Checker is just too big a deal for me.
It might not be a deal breaker for you. In which case, Linguix is fine. But if you're like me... Sadly... This may not be the solution. Sorry!
