So I went ahead and purchased Linguix to ensure that my perception of it from the outside was accurate and sadly, it was all bu confirme.d (For example, I just butchered this last part at the time of writing this as "...it was all bu confirme.d", after opening the editor in another tab, when 'correcting' and clicking on its suggestions, the outcome was "...it was all but confirmed.d" and that was a-okay with Linguix!)

Here is a simple test I did between Linguix and Grammarly (though I'm told I should pick up the LTD for WritingAidPro by others):

I went ahead and used a simple control of: "What if youre choice affect me?"
Turns out that correcting "you're" to "your" is considered a Premium feature in Linguix, while free in Grammarly, as it does not provide it as a baseline suggestion. And still, despite that, the output was still incorrect. I had posted a video about this in the Questions section, that was so kindly deleted for some reason, which showed that not only was the output wrong, but that you could spoof the correction by having incorrect punctuation, simply placing a comma halfway in the sentence, something resulting in "What if you're, choice affect me?".

What's sad is that the platform doesn't offer that much more at the moment, so without accurate proofing, there really isn't much to lean on. There isn't a plethora of other insights you can gain from the tool making up for these types of errors. Unfortunately, I don't have much faith in the platform/product moving forward either as most, if not all, answers provided in the Questions section were "We don't have X feature because the demand is too low." That was true for many key features found throughout this space, such as Plagiarism Checker and non-web based applications. It seems demand is extremely subjective to the team, therefore I can't place enough faith in these desired features to be implemented at any point in the near future, or maybe ever - bolstered by "having limited resources as a startup" - you're not going to get much in terms of revenue through a deal on AppSumo, so without a solid plan for investments or capturing huge enterprise clients, money is going to be an issue sooner than later. I can hear the bells of PublBox ringing now!

The live "helper" is anything but helpful. As I'm writing this review it just tells me I have mistakes and that I guess if I wanted to correct those without scrolling through trying to determine where those are, I would have to open it in Linguix, which isn't great, Grammarly either tells you within the workspace or opens and overlay. The statistics are a bit bare at the moment. Just general, run-of-the-mill stuff, not necessarily noteworthy and something you get in Free Grammarly (and then some). Even when I open up Linguix, I haven't received any actual grammar recommendations or ways to IMPROVE my writing or sentences.
