(a lot of) space for improvement
I was initially excited to discover Local Rank Tracker, as there's a real need for such a tool at a reasonable price point. However, the experience fell short of expectations.
Customer support first promised a French translation would be deployed. When I followed up later, they reversed their stance, saying it was no longer planned - this seriously damaged trust.
Multiple bugs made the tool difficult or sometimes impossible to use effectively.
Moreover, the credit system severely restricts usage: even at Tier 5, you're limited to 1,000 keywords with no option to add more. To expand beyond this, you must switch to a regular subscription, essentially negating the benefits of the lifetime deal (LTD) investment.
It's particularly disappointing because I had high hopes for this product.

First, a quick note on the French translation: it’s actively being implemented right now. We’ve already finalized the translation and it’s currently in development. It should be live very soon, and I’ll be happy to let you know once it’s up and running.
Regarding the keyword limit — yes, even on Tier 5, the included allowance is 1,000 keywords tracked daily across all heatmaps. This is a hard technical cap built into the LTD plan. However, we do offer custom add-ons for users who need more. Just send us a quick message and we’ll arrange additional credits for your use case — no need to switch to a subscription unless you prefer it for other reasons.
I completely understand the frustration, especially when expectations were high. Our goal is to continuously improve the product and address exactly this kind of feedback. I hope the upcoming updates — both in UX and feature flexibility — help rebuild your trust.
