Q: Where can I get proxy for this software?

I’m planning to use this tool for local business scraping. Please suggest reliable proxy providers (SOCKS or HTTP) that work well and avoid IP bans, preferably with a good price-performance balance.

A: Proxy providers are listed on the ReadMe page for the program. Which provider needed entirely depends on which site you plan to scrape and how much scraping you plan on doing.

Q: Scrape G Maps

Unless i read incorrectly, the rows of data able to scrape per day is less than 200 from Google maps, is this correct? For example, would it be possible to scrape and retrieve 1000 rows of data with emails per day if that was what i wanted?

Thank you.

A: There is no caps in the program, there is no per day, or per anything that LocalScraper sets. This is a desktop application and once you buy it you can use it at much as you want/need because you own a license to use it. That being said the sites that we scrape do have limits per search. A: The program does not provide its own proxies. It's not something that we can afford to offer at such a low price. Some customers run 8 copies of the program per PC and the license allows for 2, so 16 copies of the program running across 2 PCs per customer would be more money in proxies than we make. While the $99 seems large upfront it's only $8.25 per month.

The program does support proxies,...

Q: Website down?

The website has been down since yesterday and the license server is also not working anymore. Do others have this issue too?

A: The website is online as is the license server. We were moving web hosts so there was some downtime and we ran into a bug during the move that was resolved. We are still looking into if any other bugs have popped up from the move and fixing them as we find them.

A: Sorry it won't be added due to database protection laws that the UK has. Yell UK was part of the program many years ago but they took legal action to have it removed.
