Q: If we are paying ASES directly for email usage, why is the deal limited by number of emails?

Hi, there may be some confusion, let me clarify one more thing, once you consume the AppSumo deals, you can buy extra email credits with a lower price at $0.40 per 1000. While the regular price is $0.6 per 1000.
Plus, you don't need to pay the $60 yearly subscription price ever.

MailBluster uses Amazon SES for email delivery, which charges separately (around ~$1 per 10,000 emails). You only pay minimal AWS costs for email delivery, not recurring fees to MailBluster.
If you calculate both MailBluster and AWS pricing, it is still very cost effective compare to other email marketing tools. On top of that, Amazon SES has very high deliverability
